Es verbindet damit Informationen zu Raum und Zeit in einem Informationssystem, das mit wenigen Mausklicks Zugriff zu einer m\u00e4chtigen Datensammlung gew\u00e4hrt. Den geographischen Daten in Form verschiedener Karten sind historische Informationen, wie etwa Bev\u00f6lkerungszahlen, Wirtschaftsdaten, dynastische Verbindungen oder auch multimediale Staatenbeschreibungen, zugeordnet.
